Returns

Eligibility Window:
Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale Items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Material Composition

The Formfit Pro Back is built using Össur’s signature textile technologies:

MotionTech™ Knit: A 3D-knitted fabric that provides medical-grade compression (20–30 mmHg) while maintaining high breathability and moisture-wicking properties.
StayBilizer™ Technology: Includes lightweight, malleable aluminum stays that are anatomically shaped to the lower back to provide structure without adding bulk.
SmartPad™: A removable lumbar pad made of soft, supportive foam for targeted cushioning.
CoolVent™: Strategic zones in the knit designed for extra airflow to prevent overheating during activity.
Note on Allergies: Unlike many other knitted braces, some versions of this support contain natural rubber latex, which may cause a reaction in sensitive individuals.

Care & Washing Instructions

To maintain the compression of the knit and the longevity of the aluminum stays, follow these care guidelines:

1. Preparation

Remove the SmartPad: Detach the removable lumbar pad before washing.
Secure Fasteners: Close all hook-and-loop (Velcro) closures. This prevents the "hooks" from snagging and damaging the fine knit of the brace during the wash cycle.

2. Washing

Machine Washable: Unlike many medical braces, the Formfit Pro can be machine-washed. Use a delicate/gentle cycle.
Temperature: Use cold water, specifically 30°C (86°F).
Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these break down the elastic fibers responsible for the compression.

3. Drying

Air Dry Only: Lay the brace flat to air dry.
Do Not: Use a tumble dryer, iron the brace, or expose it to direct heat sources (like a radiator or intense sunlight), as this can warp the aluminum stays and ruin the elasticity of the MotionTech fabric.

Pro Tip: Regular washing is actually recommended for this brace. Salt buildup from sweat can cause the fibers to become brittle; washing "resets" the knit and helps maintain its compressive strength.
